Just when we thought we were going to welcome fall, BOOM! Summer smacks us in the face. It has been in the high 90's with heat indexes into the 100's all week. It has been so hot that the bees and wasps (evil wasps) are hunting for any water source they can find. We managed to play outside in the pool and sprinkler for a total of 20 minutes before the swarms came diving at us. No joke. Dive bombing devils.
Even though we are ready for the cooler weather and fall events, this holiday weekend will be hot but gorgeous. We we definitely make the most of summer's last hurrah. Cookouts, playgrounds, water fun, and plenty of sunshine.
Goodbye, summer! We are ready to welcome fall with open arms!
