We had such a fun, busy and festive weekend. We got our family pictures taken on Saturday and we also had a Halloween party at our gym. I can't share with you the pictures with his costume, because we are keeping that secret. He wanted to show daddy his new skill that he has been working hard on for the last few weeks in class. So we walked the beam quite a lot. He is really very good at it!
This weekend (and a few days last week) Ryder has been cutting all of his molars. Three of them poked through on Friday but they are still giving him so much trouble. So we entertained him with a few glow stick baths. He loved it and of course thought that we had handed him drumsticks. We of course showed him how much fun it was to pretend that they were light sabers and have an epic battle fight there in the bathroom.
Another fun activity that we did last night was carving our pumpkin. However, Ryder (thanks to his teeth) wasn't all that impressed. Actually, that is an understatement. He cried nearly the entire time which ended in him eating popcicles while Seth finished carving the pumpkin by himself. But at least we tried.
Only 3 days until Halloween! Now I am headed to the kitchen to bake up some brownies and other yummy treats! I hope all of you have a spook-tacular week!
