sitting up

eating solids but refusing chunky textures

babbling constantly

learned to clap

obsessed with big brother's toys

attached to mama

Girlfriend is getting so big! She loves being outside and going on adventures. If there is any water around she will want to get in it! In the past week she learned how to say 3 words, take a few steps holding onto hands, get to her knees from sitting, how to clap, and how to sing the Batman theme song. We were driving into town one day and Harper kept saying "na na na na" then she would look in her mirror at me or over to Ryder and start saying it again. So we started singing "Na na na na na na Batman!" to her and she would get excited and start clapping. Every time we would finish singing she would start back up again. Finally she sang out " na na na na bababa" and Ryder and I have been amazed ever since! She knows to scream "bubba" at her brother to get his attention.He laughs every time but is learning to ignore her. Haha!

She is getting easily frustrated because she can't quite figure out the crawling thing. She will work so hard to get onto her knees but then just fall flat because she can't figure it out. As soon as I stand her on her feet she starts stepping and laughing. She will be running from me soon I just know it! We took a trip to the Magic House in St. Louis last week and she enjoyed it just as much as her older brother. They had so much for even the tiniest babies to enjoy. Her favorite part was the small creek with running water in the front garden area. She would have splashed and played all day if I let her!
