I am having the hardest time with Ryder turning two and a half. It isn't his toddler attitude, although some days that's enough to turn my hair white. It isn't the fact that he is nearly half of my height, because he totally is. He is rocking the potty training, talking up a storm, doing all kinds of things that only big kids do, and we are getting ready to turn his bedroom into a big kid room with a twin bed and no rocking chair. This mama's heart can only take so much. It's been a while since I posted an update on the things he is doing and that he is interested in. So here it goes, pass me the tissues.
- Fake sneezes all the time. "Ah, ah, ah, ah, twooooo!"
- Hugs all toys after stumbling across one that was "lost".
- Calls us by name and motions for us to follow by opening and closing his hand.
- Still says "choonga" for train. I will miss it so much.
- Rides Harley tricycle around the house with your legs moving so fast.
- Must put every coin into your cheeseburger piggy bank. Then shake it to see how full it is.
- Gets excited when the garbage truck comes in the morning.
- There must always be a ball and a construction truck in the tub.
- Fear bugs even more than last year.
- Will only eat pizza from a local pizza parlor.
