Baked Penne Pasta
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced green peppers (I omitted this)
24 oz spaghetti sauce
10 oz Philadelphia Italian Cheese & Herb Cooking Creme, divided
1 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese, divided
3 cups cooked penne pasta
1. Boil penne pasta & drain thoroughly.
2. Brown ground beef, onions, & peppers. Drain grease.
3. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme, & 1/2 cup Mozzarella cheese. Cook & stir for 2-3 minutes or until Mozzarella is melted.
4. Add pasta & mix lightly.
5. Spoon mixture into a greased 9x9 casserole dish.
6. Top with remaining cooking creme & sprinkle the remaining Mozzarella cheese.
7. Cover & bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
8. Remove cover & continue baking for 5 minutes to melt the Mozzarella cheese.
I have all of these ingredients. I'm trying this tonight!!
